Back40 started in 2000 working and developing web projects for Oklahoma-based non-profits. The tradition continues with the recent redesign of the Water4 Organization.
Water4 is “eradicating the world’s water crisis by putting the solution in the hands of the people.”It’s simple to get involved – as an individual, group or business. People from all over the world support Water4’s efforts through three unique ways: sustainable grassroot developments, full-scale initiatives, and private and public partnerships.
Almost everyone in the office added their expertise to this project. Our senior designer, Ryan, found inspiration from the organization’s branding when creating the new full-custom rich design that features a variety of textures and patterns and lively color scheme. Then, our developers added in unique features that entice the user to interact with the site. The Water4 water drop falls to the footer as you scroll, waves roll gently like the ocean, and hover states that beg to be clicked.
Our team of programmers built new modules (the Javelin CMS way of adding functionality and content to your website); fundraising campaigns and donation modules, and a story module – a way for the Water4 community to share their stories – all work together to make it even easier for organization supporters to get involved.
