Looking Back on 2009

We are entering our 10th Anniversary in the year 2010, so not only are we taking a look back at all we achieved in 2009, but we’re preparing for a big year just around the bend.

• Back40 Design Group 2009 Highlights:
  • We started out the year with high goals for the company throughout logo, print, magazine, and web. Thankfully, we saw each of those goals successfully achieved.
  • We brought on new staff to help us fulfill those goals: Krystal, JR, Heather, and Rebecca. Plus an oldie but goodie: Josh returned.
  • We celebrated some great anniversary milestones with our staff: Matt, Ryan, Donna, Reyna, Amy, & Scott.
  • After a year as an Account Executive, Stacy became our new Director of Operations and won the Forty Under 40 award.
  • We moved our location a few blocks down Memorial Road, but it has made all the difference in the world.
  • We launched a new name with Back40 Design Group, along with a new logo and website.
  • And our new Edmond Outlook website and social networking re-launch is hot on it’s heels. Look for big things to come in that department…

• Edmond Outlook Magazine 2009 Highlights:
  • We sold and created over 1,200 ads this year!
  • We wrote and managed over 200 articles in 2009 with the help of some tremendous local writers.
  • We designed and printed over 550 magazine pages over the last 12 months!
  • We could not do this without the tremendous talent of our writers and our loyal advertisers, as well as our dedicated staff: Donna, JR, Josh, Krystal, Rebecca, Heather, and Stacy.

• Web Design & Development Department 2009 Highlights:
  • We created 144 new custom-designed websites this year!
  • We launched and managed over 400 customers in our new Javelin CMS.
  • We currently host up to 500 clients in the web department, many of whom are long-term relationships spanning back over 9 years!
  • We could not do this without the incredible skill of our tremendous staff: Reyna, JR, Amy, Scott, Ryan, Matt, Heather, and Stacy.

• Print & Logo Marketing Department 2009 Highlights:
  • We printed well over 20,000 marketing pieces this year alone!
  • We served almost 50 clients with new brand materials in 2009.
  • We could not do this without the entire crew – from billing, to sales, project management, and of course, graphic designers!

As always, we are grateful to our loyal clients and long-term relationships we’ve established over the years. 2009 was a great ride, and we anticipate a tidal wave to come in 2010. Happy Holidays & Happy New Year!
